“Hola Amig@s! Very nice to meet you all. Let me introduce myself. I am a Southern Spanish girl, Mexican adopted soul, sister of all whale sharks in the planet! Yup! I love my nature and I love sharing it with everyone. I work… Should I say work? I vacation with Indigo Peninsula as a Tourist Guide.
My love for this amazing country began when, as a History undergraduate in Goldsmiths University, London (UK), a great friend invited me over to spend some time in is Mexican home. If love at first sight exists, that was it! The following year I continued going back until I spontaneously decided staying and live the life I really wanted to live. As a History graduate and having written my thesis on Mexican mural paintings and post-colonial trauma, I am fascinated by this country’s pre-hispanic civilizations like Aztecs, Mayans, Toltecs,…
Growing up in southern Spain infused me from a very early age with an irrational adoration of water and everything contained by it: coral reefs, fish, sharks, turtles, seaweed,… So I feel blessed to have the opportunity to live with and share the magnificent oceans and cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula.
I am currently residing in Toronto, Canada, the reason being: We, the team of Indigo Peninsula, decided that this business should provide services for EVERYONE, so We sent Me to Toronto in order to learn American Sign Language (ASL) to make the term EVERYONE come alive. From here I am currently organizing groups, Deaf or hearing, to fly over to Cancun Airport, where the rest of Indigo Peninsula’s team will be waiting for us to begin our magical journey through jungles, beaches and oceans to discover centuries of living history”.
